Sometimes, a glittering professional's career hides the most piteous stories underneath. Lolo Jones, who was the winner of the USA and World championships in hurdle events in 2013, has only achieved this feat through a great deal of perseverance and effort. Jones, who was born to a single mother that included five kids living in the midst of poverty and struggle in her early years, went through extremely difficult childhood. Jones's mother travelled frequently and even lived in the church basement. This nomadic life forced Jones to move to a new school every year until the time she entered in high school. Jones was among the top hurdlers when she started the college. In 2002, at the NCAA Track & Field Championships, she won the 100-meters hurdles. Additionally, she was one those on the second team in the 100-meter relay. Jones is a champion of indoor hurdles at the NCAA Championships in both 2003 and 2004. Professional Career Following her graduation In 2005 Jones took up training in pursuit of a track career. Jones won each of her events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track events in this same year.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Her family moved into Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Brandt was discovered by casting directors in her hometown and took the part of Naevia in the Starz smash Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences by her acting and was one of the shows breakout starlets. Lesley-Ann Brandt was conceived on the 2nd of December, 1981 in Cape Town South Africa. She is a New Zealand actress with a impressive talent. Lesley Brandt moved along with her family and friends to Auckland New Zealand in 1999. It was her first day working in Auckland as a retail store owner, and was then promoted to a manager of IT. Lesley began her journey in commercials after several models jobs. Her acting degree was completed in 2008, and then continued to study the methods of Meisner. Lesley Brandt's first notable part-time acting gig was with the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance in New Zealand's TV series Shortland Street as a support actor. She then appeared in the sci-fi crime thriller This Is Not My Life that is based upon anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a hostage in the midst of her youth and later depicts on the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
